My weekend

 My family and I went to the zoo. it was a long journery but we all played I spy and sang songs. It wasn’t long be for we saw the zoo. when we walked thought the gate we went and sat down and had lunch.

Next: we first went to see the bats and the parrots we then went to the kangaroos we feed them apples. after playing around with the kangaroos we went to the dingoes soon after we went to go and sit down and look for the next place. We were next to the reptiles so we went to have a look the room was dark. So we went down to see what was happening their was a black mamba. the zoo keeper was seetling  it well we touch it.
I touched the snake it felt soft.
After it was time to go back home.

Book week in schools

Book week in school
 This week was Book week. There was a play prefored in our school hall on tuseday.

The play was about the treasure hunt That has been
 writting by craig christie.

There were two tribes living on an island. These two tribes blamed each others for stealing each others song.

The treeland tribe was led by George and the seaview tribe was led by Jessica These two characters teamed up to solve the problem about the lost treasure which  was their song.

The problem was solved when they were able to put the torn map together and work out how to get to the treasure They had to read three different books to solve the problem.

I really enjoyed this play because both the characters were very smart and talented They sang very well and were also very hilariours.

Thank you Sam and Lydia for coming to our school I hope to see you again next year.

kiwi sports

Today the senior school had its first kiwi sport session for this tearm.

Ben,from Auclkand badminton taught us some badminton racket and a shuttle.

 We learnt how to hit the shuttle using a fore arm hit and backhand hit. Ben also taught us how to hold the racket using diffrent grips. I feelt happy that I lernt how to use the racket in diffrent ways.

 I am feeling very excited  about taking part in cultural activties at school this term.

Today I picked two cultural groups that I want to be in.
My first choice was kiwi can jam and I picked fijian as my second choice.

My writing

On monday the first day of school we were lerning about ANZAC and diffrent teachers whent up a presented what ANZAC is about. Also to rember the soldiers that died 

We wear a poppies  to present all the deaths. 

how the brain works

Today three boys  from room 7 came to our class name Iki,Saia,Aj came to explain to us how our brain works, parts of the brain and  their are five parts of our brain.

I learnt how the brain sends messages to the brain faster than any computer, and also a brain weighs about 3.3 pounds.

I felt happy that I learnt how the brain works.

my weekend

On sunday my famliy and I went to the beach and had a picnic while my mum and dad were takeing the food out of the car me and my siblings went to play at the park.

Next then we went to go play soccer with our freindes Max,Alex and skull then we went to go and eat. Once we finished eating we asked our pernts if we could ride our scooters.

After we finished rideing our scooters it was time to go home.

We enjoyed our day out at the beach.

Flax interest me because you can create heeps of cool things for a (example) a Nicholas but flax can do heeps of other cool things and flax is a magic plante.

The next thing why I like flax is because it dose not brake  flax can do a lot of cool things and it is a creative plante

SLJ WEEK Day24 activity3

This is my favourite   activity to do in the summer beacuse  it fun also it makes you fit and you can enjoy the fresh air while you are rideing.

And you can lose fat also you can enjoy the beautiful sky and the green grass and you will have a grate time.



 

SLJ week3 day23 activtiy

Malo lelei I saw penguins and a baby  wolf that was eatting ice and a giant whale that splashed a lot juping up in the air also I saw  baby polir bears come out of there house and they slided down the hill that was foll of snow then the mother came to them and they went down the hill and the babys looked cuiuet at the same time they were going down the hill. Then the hole crelde of penguins gathered together and one of the penguins were siting on the egg so it can hach.

Logging should be allowed in nz because we need books and rubber from the trees also houses many things can be built but not just those things there are more things that can be built out of trees.did you know chuwing gum can be also  built out of trees and there are not much things that can be built out of trees.

I will build my hotel out of bricks becseace bricks are strong and they do’nt fail down if you try to througth a ball or a toy at it still will not brack.

It will brack if their was a earthquake or if a bulldozer busted throught the hotel but that will not happend it will only happend it the hotel is old.

My favourite food is pizza. First you get the pizza dough and make a nice Circle shape then you put the pizza sauce  on the pizza dough then you flantin the pizza sauce with a spoone after you have did  all of the things you can then put your toping on your pizza you can put beef,cheese and onions then you put it in your pizza oven or your oven and leave your pizza in the oven for 15-20minuters after 15-20min its over you can then cut and enjoy.

Sir Edmund Hillary what did you do at the north pole did you see raindeers was their a lot of snow and when you arived at the north pole were you excited also did you ride on a raindeer and did you have lots of fun.

How did you get up to the north pole did you travle in a plane or did you go in a space ship also did you see a poler bear,artic fox,moose  and a narwhal and did you get sceard of the animals that were their.

I want to be a Doc ranger becasuse it is so much fun looking after animals and plantes and keeping them helthy.

A doc ranger must always respet the animals and plantes and not step on them and they must not pull at the plantes also they must not hit them or do any think to hert the animal becasuse that is not being a good doc ranger. And a bad doc ranger will punch the  invierment also a bad doc ranger will not respet the invierment and will  not keep the plantes and animals helthy.
